I love steamed veggies, but I don't have a steamer. I set a metal strainer on top of a pot of water filled about 1/3 to 1/2 way. Bring water to a boil and reduce heat. Cook your favorite veggies. Personally I love to use broccoli the most it is much better steamed.

Wrapping your steaks with bacon is always great. Sear your steak in a skillet; partially cook the bacon and wrap around steak. Preheat a cast iron pan in a 375 degree. Add steak and finish cooking until bacon is crispy and steak is done to preferred perfection :)

Thank You for visiting my site. I hope you enjoy the food on here and use the recipes at home. I am trying to get better about my recipes and putting exact measurements on the recipes. When I'm cooking in my kitchen I don't really measure anything I just kinda throw it in. I'm sorry about that and I'm trying to get better. Hope you continue to use my site and try out my recipes. Thank you! Come Again! *~Chef Claire~*
Preheat the oven on broil. Top squares of graham crackers with chocolate chips and mini marshmallows. Cook for about 30-45 seconds. They toast up quick. An easy great way to eat s'mores in the winter.
About The Chef
I was born and raised in Michigan, more specifically Whitmore Lake. I have always loved to cook. I started cooking when I was young. As I got older and was allowed to cook more I started doing it more often. I especially loved summertime when I got to cook on the grill. It was (is) the best thing about cooking. I loving being outside cooking over a grill. I know its normally for the man, but I love it just as much. We had a nice cast iron grill with a smoker on the side. I loved it! The other thing I took a liking to was baking and seeing as my mom hated to bake, it became my job to bake everything. As I started progressing into my teenage years and we had cable, I started watching Food Network. I became a huge fan instantly. There were many shows I loved, but Emeril Lagasee. He was my favorite to watch he made this amazing food and he was so captivating to watch. Then I seen my first Food Network Challenge. It was an Elvis challenge and I seen them make a life size Elvis out of cake. I was so amazed. I knew from there that I wanted to do cakes. I have now realized that I still want to make great cakes for my kids, but with my Tremors I don't think I'll be able to do it for long. So I returned to my original love. I want to make food good for people. I have always had a passion for cooking and a natural ability to do it. One day the world will get the chance to have my food. I will have my restaurant one day!
