Melt butter in large pot and add onion; cook until softened. Add in garlic, salt, basil, Molasses bacon, and potatoes. Cook up until potatoes are slightly softened. Add in broccoli and cook covered, stirring occasionally until broccoli is thawed mostly. When the broccoli is mostly thawed slowly add in 5 cups hot water. Add in celery and ham. Let cook about and hour to an hour and a half. | Need: Red Onion 2tbs. Butter Garlic Powder Salt Basil Molasses Bacon seasoning 3-4 small potatoes, diced 1lb frozen broccoli 5c. water diced ham 3 celery stalks 2tbs. cornstarch When the soup is just about ready to eat mix the 2tbs cornstarch with just enough liquid from the soup to make it into slightly thinned paste. Add it into the soup mixing as you pour it in. When it is a nice thick consistency it's ready to eat! |
