Heat some oil in a pan; meanwhile season steaks with garlic, onion powder, and bell pepper seasoning. Cook about 5-7 minutes per side until a nice medium rare; set aside. Cook up bacon until nice and crispy. Lower heat a little add in peppers and onion season with sea salt and pepper. Meanwhile cut Hawaiian rolls in half and butter cut sides. Slice steak into thin strips. Heat a small skillet, add the bottom piece of bread buttered side down into pan top with steak, a piece of cheese, bacon and another slice of cheese, top with other piece of bun. Use spatula to push down slightly on the sandwich. Flip over carefully when browned and brown the other side; repeat with remaining. Open up the sandwich and add a little mayo and some of the onion and pepper mixture. Need: Carrots, peeled and sliced Potato, peeled and cubed Onion, quartered Green Pepper, cubed Celery, sliced Rump Roast, cubed Broccoli, roughly chopped (I used scissors and chopped the tops off) Parsley Oregano Garlic Powder 2 tbs. butter Flour Sea Salt Enough water to cover meat and veggies Beef boullion (if you only have chicken that will work as well.) Melt butter in a large pot; add roast, parsley, oregano, garlic powder, and salt. When meat is browned slowly add in flour until it's like a thick paste. Add about a cup of water and mix well. Add in potato, onion, carrot, celery, and green pepper. Add more water in order to cover meat and veggies. Add in boullion.; cook covered until potatoes are slightly tender. Add in broccoli and taste your soup base (add more seasonings if bland or even some more boullion). When potatoes are nice and tender and broccoli is soft it is ready to eat. Enjoy!
We didn't have much around the house the other day so I decided to make a pizza using part of a roast I had left from the night before. I sliced it in thin strips I used a can of original sloppy joe and ready made pizza dough. I brushed the dough with olive oil and sprinkled with garlic powder and basil. I had slices of white american so I ripped into pieces and scattered around the dough. I baked it in the oven at 450 degrees for about 5-7 minutes just to to slightly cook the dough. Take it out and add sloppy joe sauce. I topped mine with diced red onion, roast and on half of it spinach and mushroom. I finished it off with some shredded Pinconning cheese. Bake at 450 until cheese becomes golden brown. |
