I seasoned up my steak with a light coating of onion powder, smokey mesquite rub, salt, and pepper. I let it sit for about 15 minutes after it is all seasoned. I preheat my cast iron skillet and added about 2 tbs. of olive oil and about 2 tbs. cooking sherry. When the pan is heated and ready I added in my steak I cooked it about 20-25 minutes. About 10-12 minutes per side until most liquid in pan is gone and the meat has started to become a dark brown.
