Need: 1tbs. Olive Oil 1lb. Sirloin cut in thin strips 1 med. onion, diced 1 med green pepper, diced 1 1/2c. water 14 1/2 oz. diced tomatoes undrained 8oz. tomato sauce 1tsp. sugar 3-4 tsp paprika 1/2- 1tsp caraway seed 1/4 tsp pepper 1 1/2c. uncooked rotini | A nice pairing with this dish is biscuits and asparagus. I like to cut it in half and sauteing them in a skillet. Season with some garlic and onion and saute in olive oil. | Heat oil in a skillet; add sirloin strip and brown. Add in onion and green pepper, let cook about 5 minutes. Add in sugar, paprika, caraway, pepper and tomato sauce; mix well. Add in diced tomatoes and water; bring to a boil. When it start boiling add in rotini and reduce heat. Cook until sauce has thickened and noodles are tender |
